Visual Perception
Visual Perception while developing balance is one of the missing links that
most products do not have. With the Woggle Gym program and the demands of both
the Rug and the Ring Maze, visual perception, proprioception, and the
vestibular system ( the tripod of functional balance) are developed
concurrently. The development of peripheral vision for athletic performance is
another benefit of our curriculum. See Video Clip.
Dot Pyramid with Weights or CorBall
Beginning in start position with weights or CorBall climb the pyramid of
dots
at the beginning of the rug. Beginning with right foot first dot and
back.
Followed by left foot first dot back and repeat with second, third
and fourth
dots. Reaching black ring sets you free to do the 180’s through
out the rug
and back. Hold your weights or CorBall high and discover a
rhythm while walking
that maximizes upper body movement.

Red Dot Crossover (with weights)
Place the Woggler with both feet on 1 side of the line and on the red
dots.
Mount the Woggler, place feet in walking position. Lift your weights
with elbows
bent, and proceed to step across the line with first foot on
the red dot then
the second foot across the line to the adjacent red dot.
Now with the first
foot step back across the line to the next red dot and
follow with the opposite
foot. Build as much speed as you can and work
your way up and down the rug.

Walking the Rug in push-up position (with hand grips)
Place Woggler in start position, grasping grips in a push-up position,
begin
with the red dots and crawl forward and then backward to start
position. Next
attempt to crawl the yellow dots. Etc.
