Woggler™ and Fitness
A common concept of fitness has been related to cardiovascular and/or
strength development. The importance of both of these disciplines cannot be
denied. However, recently the emphasis is changing from certain specialized
disciplines that meet a particular fitness need to the fitness of the total
body. We repeatedly on our web site have made mention of the words "core
harmony". If you have not read our mission
statement you will not be aware of the underlying principles for which our
products are designed. One of the extraordinary features of our products that
we hear about repeatedly is its ability with certain attachments to
accommodate the needs of the lowest levels of fitness to the fitness needs of
an elite athlete. As you browse through the various attachments for which we
have provided links you really can streamline your own fitness program. As you
do so, please bear in mind the concept of "core harmony" as defined in our
mission statement to achieve a program designed for total body fitness.
Woggler™ and Athletic Performance
Athletic Performance is a specialized science that stands by itself. It
seeks to achieve more than a healthy functional body, but scientifically
pursues to maximize the body's abilities to perform instinctively and with
strength and speed all the demands placed upon it while carrying out the near
impossible feats of movement unique to each sport. Each sport differs in its
demands of control, strength, and balance. For example:
- A volleyball player uses strength and balance to reach down and hit the
ball up. Other plays require reaching high to hit the ball down.
- A baseball player deals with a fast, curve ball and swinging a bat,
reaching with a glove to stop a hard driven ground ball or running the
distance ending with a tremendous leap to catch a ball hit deep into center
field.
- A person playing tennis deals with speed and control while reaching the
distance to accurately swing the racket to return the ball from any number
of normally awkward positions.
- In football a person deals with weight transfer imposed upon the player
from an outside source. Many times a football player is suddenly and
forcefully hit without a clue. He is called upon to deal with balance and
weight transfer instinctively to keep the play alive.
These are just a few examples of sports that go beyond the normal demand of
just being fit. Though athletic performance relative to each sport may differ
in some respects, there is a common denominator to peak performance that
carries through all sports. We call it " Core Harmony
".
The Woggler™ with its attachments and accessories is designed to maximize
athletic performance beyond a well-tuned, smooth running machine that
economically runs up the highway to the explosive, mean machine that roars out
to the race track. It's objective is to develop the specialized internal
components that supercharges the body to compete while performing the
extraordinary demands of strength and balance common to all sports. When we
speak of extraordinary performance, it must be realized that the brain only
allows the body to perform motion and movement to the extent that it can be
supported by core strength and balance. The communication that the brain has
with the extremities of the body becomes impossible beyond that degree of
"core harmony" that has been achieved. It also is important to realize that
"core harmony" can be enhanced and strengthened thus opening neurological
pathways for extraordinary performance. The Woggler™ is designed for the
development of the total body simultaneously. You will notice with every
exercise whether it is designed to strengthen limbs and joints or "core
strength" that the Woggler™ incorporates at the same time balance development.
Our concept of "core harmony" highlights the benefits we feature with our
products. We invite you to browse through our products and design your own
protocol for achieving "core harmony" and accomplishing superior athletic
performance.
