The Woggler is a revolutionary balance board that develops a
concept for fitness that we call CORE HARMONY. Since the body does not work in
isolated parts, but rather in unison, it is important to develop strength,
balance and agility concurrently or together. Core Strength and Stabilization
are matters of intense concern and interest relative to body performance and
rightfully so since your core body is considered the main link between
movement and the brain. Peak performance really does depend on the strength of
your core body. The Woggle Gym curriculum begins with the Core but understands
and emphasizes not only the specific development of core strength, but targets
other muscle groups and develops concurrently STRENGTH, BALANCE, and AGILITY
in a manner that harmonizes all three aspects of body performance. In real
life and especially in the sports arena it is important not only to develop
each aspect of body movement but to do it at the same time since that is how
we use it.

ROTATIONAL EXERCISES
Exercising with the Woggler
forces a rotational motion and counter motion between the upper and lower
body. There are several benefits to this experience.
First, Impeded Movement. Just as water
in the pool restrains rapid movement, attempting to move rapidly on the
Woggler is like running with the brakes on. As you attempt to do so, the
experience becomes cardiovascular and even more so when incorporating other
accessories that we provide.
Second, Joint Stretching. Using the Woggler
imposes a rotational loading and unloading of muscles, joints, and tendons
within the functional range of motion that trains the body to deal with the
kind of compromising positions experienced by the rigorous demands of most
sports. This both benefits those with previous joint injuries as well as
provides a protocol for injury prevention.
